Recently I was asked what career path I would like my children to take

Most ambitious parents might answer with, ‘a doctor, lawyer or brain surgeon…!’  However, my honest answer is that I would love it if my children followed an entrepreneurial career path within sales or following my footsteps in recruitment! 

There is no career quite like recruitment, it can certainly be a roller coaster with ups and downs, it is thrilling and can be unbelievably rewarding, personally and financially. Working in recruitment develops determination, grit, intuition and the ability to positively interact with anyone and everyone.

I have worked in recruitment for nearly 20 years within a variety of sectors and differing sized businesses. 

I feel very lucky to have found a career that I absolutely love and am so passionate about.  Having had some amazing career opportunities, I established Isabelle Williams to use my experience and knowledge to help other Recruitment Consultants and aspiring Recruitment Consultants find the same.

Isabelle Williams is a ‘Recruitment to Recruitment’ agency focussed on building relationships with Recruitment Agencies and Recruitment Consultants across East Anglia and South Lincs.

We specialise in all levels of Recruitment from Trainee to Board level,  including: Associate Director, Operational Manager, Regional Manager, Recruitment Manager, Divisional Manager, Senior Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment consultant, Resourcers and all recruitment roles in between.    

Why the name Isabelle Williams?

Isabelle and William are two of my children’s middle names (don’t tell the third!).

Many ‘Recruitment to Recruitment’ businesses offer a national model and a sporadic approach to recruitment.  At Isabelle Williams all our time is spent developing relationships with local recruitment agencies, which enables us to be aware of where the opportunities are and build an understanding of the nuances of these businesses. We are then in a position to fully brief you, so you can compare your options and find the right business to meet your unique goals and aspirations.

We use the usual methods of generic advertising, Linkedin and job boards, in addition we have a strategy focussed around referrals, tapping into our vast personal network which we continue to develop as new talent enters the marketplace. Often Recruitment Consultants within the ‘Rec to Rec’ sector spend the majority of their days sat behind a laptop firing off LinkedIn emails.  Of course, LinkedIn forms a large part of our strategy. However, first and foremost, we are about building long term relationships with Recruitment Consultants placing a high emphasis on referrals and networking locally.
